Of improv and wings.
Adam and I wrote a list of things we want to do over the year. Kinda like a bucket list. Today we crossed some of those off and it was fantastic. We went and watched a bit of the hockey game while eating wings and then went to some theatre sports/improv at the theatre. It was awesome. I laughed a lot. We bonded. Good times were had, that's for sure.

I can still remember the sound of Becky's laugh.
My friend passed away just over six months ago. It was sudden and unexpected and has been a real trial for me. But, I am lucky. I have so many great memories with her. After graduating high school, we didn't spent as much time together but we still made a concerted effort to hang out as often as we could. I am so glad that we did. In all honesty, we were pretty dull. Our activities in the last years have consisted of Becs doing my hair, sitting and chatting, or going out for wings. It was great though. We never ran out of things to say. We could talk for hours and we usually did. One of the thins I really treasure is that I can still hear the sound of her laughing. She had such a unique laugh. A little loud, explosive and even obnoxious, but it was hers. I could easily pick it out of a crowd. I can picture her collapsing to the ground laughing, her legs twisted out in some strangely flexible way that I will never find comfortable and her bright red hair falls into her face as she keels over. It's a good picture. As good as they come.
